The SIDs, organised by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sesarju.eu\/\">SESAR 3 Joint Undertaking<\/a>, are one of the most influential events within\u00a0<strong>European aviation research<\/strong> and the main vehicle to share progress and disseminate results.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The poster <strong>exhibition<\/strong> gave us the possibility to\u00a0discuss the project\u2019s objectives and ongoing activities, such as\u00a0<strong>demonstrations<\/strong>, our joint efforts with other SESAR 3 JU projects to build a <strong>harmonised<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>pan-European deployment of U-Space<\/strong>, and how EALU-AER is engaging towards the exploration of\u00a0<strong>societal acceptance<\/strong>\u00a0in Ireland, which is crucial for the success of Urban Air Mobility.<\/p>\n<h3>Meeting with the US Federal Aviation Administration<\/h3>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-429\" src=\"https:\/\/research.dblue.it\/ealu-aer\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2023\/12\/FAA-SESAR-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"789\" height=\"444\" srcset=\"https:\/\/research.dblue.it\/ealu-aer\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2023\/12\/FAA-SESAR-1-200x113.jpg 200w, https:\/\/research.dblue.it\/ealu-aer\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2023\/12\/FAA-SESAR-1-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/research.dblue.it\/ealu-aer\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2023\/12\/FAA-SESAR-1-400x225.jpg 400w, https:\/\/research.dblue.it\/ealu-aer\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2023\/12\/FAA-SESAR-1-600x338.jpg 600w, https:\/\/research.dblue.it\/ealu-aer\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2023\/12\/FAA-SESAR-1-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/research.dblue.it\/ealu-aer\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2023\/12\/FAA-SESAR-1-800x450.jpg 800w, https:\/\/research.dblue.it\/ealu-aer\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2023\/12\/FAA-SESAR-1.jpg 1000w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 789px) 100vw, 789px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A significant highlight of the event is the EALU-AER participation in the <strong>EU-US Coordination Committee (CCOM) <\/strong>as part of the<strong> U-space Coordination Cell<\/strong>, an initiative by SESAR aiming to coordinate and exchange information with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.faa.gov\/\"><strong>Federal Aviation Administration<\/strong><\/a> (FAA) about the Unmanned Aircraft System Traffic Management (UTM) projects being run in the US. During the meeting, representatives engaged in impactful discussions, exemplifying a commitment to global innovation exchange.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The FAA and SESAR 3 JU representatives, including the EALU-AER project, already met in February 2023 to lay the foundation for ongoing exchanges, symbolizing the dedication to collaborative progress.
