Join us for a day of networking, innovation, and exploration of the future of Advanced Air Mobility (AAM)<\/strong><\/h5>\n

\u00c9AL\u00da-AER is excited to invite you to Drone-A-Palooza<\/strong><\/a>, a one-day event organised by The Future Mobility Campus Ireland (FMCI)<\/strong>, designed to bring together industry leaders, researchers, and policymakers to discuss the latest developments in AAM and explore the potential of drones to transform transportation and society.<\/p>\n

Drone-A-Palooza will take place on Tuesday, January 23rd, 2024, <\/strong>at\u00a0FMCI in Shannon, County Clare, Ireland.<\/strong> The event will run from 11:00 to 16:00 and will feature a variety of panel discussions, presentations, and networking opportunities.<\/p>\n

One of the highlights of Drone-A-Palooza will be an interactive Social Acceptance Workshop conducted by \u00c9AL\u00da-AER.<\/strong> The workshop will take place from 14:00 to 15:30 and it will provide participants with an opportunity to share their opinions and concerns about the use of drones in their communities and work with experts to develop strategies for building social acceptance of drone technology.<\/p>\n

About \u00c9AL\u00da-AER<\/strong><\/h5>\n

The overall aim of this SESAR 3 Joint Undertaking<\/a> project is to demonstrate a U-space infrastructure, backed by industry standards technology and\/or solutions with a higher level of integration among various stakeholders, within a U-space ecosystem and increased levels of automation in the various processes in place<\/span>. Consequently, the project will establish Ireland\u2019s first Digital Sky Demonstrator, located at Future Mobility Campus vertiport site, in Shannon, Ireland.<\/span><\/p>\n

To achieve these goals, \u00c9AL\u00da-AER focuses on achieving four objectives:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. U-space architecture<\/strong>: developing a technical U-Space integrated infrastructure solution for the implementation of Urban Air Mobility (UAM);<\/li>\n
  2. Demos<\/strong>: demonstrating and validating five use cases;<\/li>\n
  3. Public<\/strong>\u00a0acceptance<\/strong>: evaluating the public\u2019s perception of UAM and defining competency profiles of the future workforce;<\/li>\n
  4. Coordination<\/strong>\u00a0and<\/strong>\u00a0harmonisation<\/strong>: ensuring consistency, integration, and consolidation of regulations and standards at a pan-European level.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    In order to reach these key objectives, the project is engaging in a series of demonstration activities of Urban Air Mobility (read here<\/a> about the first demonstration conducted by \u00c9AL\u00da-AER) that capture the operational requirements, vehicle dynamics, and technology demonstrations associated with the projected near-term UAM services market such as emergency services, freight delivery, surveillance and monitoring, and passenger transportation.<\/p>\n
