Ireland is actively exploring this innovative field through various initiatives aimed at improving technology and infrastructures while finding effective ways to integrate drone services into existing systems. However, for drones to become a part of everyday life, gaining public trust and social acceptance will be essential.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Public opinion plays a crucial role in shaping the policies and regulations that govern the use of drones. By understanding and addressing the community&#8217;s concerns and expectations, we can foster trust and make drones a safe, valuable,\u00a0 and accepted part of our daily lives.<\/span><\/p>\n<h5><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><b>Nationwide Public Consultation Launched<\/b><\/h5>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Within this context, the European funded <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/research.dblue.it\/ealu-aer\/\"><b>\u00c9AL\u00da-AER project<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is launching a national survey to understand how the public feels about drones. This online consultation aims at collecting feedback from Irish citizens covering various aspects of social acceptance, including the expected potential benefits of drone usage, safety and privacy concerns, and openness to new business models.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h5><b>Share Your Voice! Help Shape the Future of Transportation<\/b><\/h5>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The online survey is currently open to all Irish residents and will be available until <strong>30th<\/strong><\/span><b> June 2025<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
