The Netherlands Aerospace Centre (NLR) is the independent knowledge organisation in the Netherlands for aerospace coordinating the eMCO-SiPO project. With its multidisciplinary expertise and state-of-the-art facilities, NLR provides innovative solutions to the complex challenges of the aerospace industry. NLR works for and with governments, industry and research institutions in the Netherlands and abroad, contributing to safety, efficiency and sustainability in aviation and space.
The German Aerospace Centre (DLR) is the national centre for aerospace, energy, and transportation research in Germany. DLR conducts research and development activities in the fields of aeronautics, space, energy, transport, and security, with a focus on developing innovative technologies and solutions to address global challenges in these areas. The centre works closely with industry partners, universities, and other research institutions to advance the state-of-the-art in aerospace and related fields.
Deep Blue is a leading Italian SME that has been awarded EU funding for over 85 research projects within the Horizon Europe, Horizon 2020, CEF2027, CERV, DIGITAL, Erasmus+ and FP7 framework programmes. In the eMCO-SiPO Project, Deep Blue plays a pivotal role as Dissemination and Communication leader. Deep Blue offers customized consulting and training services to organizations in the fields of transportation, health, environment, and industry. With a team of diverse expertises, Deep Blue provides a cross-cutting, original and inclusive approach to their activities.
ADSE is a prominent Dutch SME with a specialisation in aerospace systems engineering, technical consulting, and certification. Renowned for its expertise in integrated aircraft development, ADSE possesses unique and valuable knowledge in the field. By adeptly applying systems engineering principles, ADSE addresses modern engineering challenges within the aerospace ecosystem. With its EASA Part 21J Design Organization Approval (DOA), ADSE is equipped to develop state-of-the-art modifications for aircraft and rotorcraft, leveraging its diverse range of internal disciplines.
Dr. Ries Simons is a senior consultant in Aerospace Medicine and Senior Research Physician at the Netherland Organisation for Applied Scientific Research’s Aeromedical and Human Factors department. He is a trusted advisor to leading airlines, EASA, and ICAO, providing expert guidance on pilot medical certification, in-flight incapacitation prevention, fatigue risk management, and fitness-on-the-job.
