This detailed wind profile is visualized on a dedicated wind chart, enhancing situational awareness\u2014especially valuable during adverse weather conditions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Delivering Key Operational Benefits<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The AWALON wind module brings several tangible benefits to air traffic management at Warsaw Airport, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Improved Energy Management:<\/strong> ATCOs can better manage aircraft energy on approach, reducing the occurrence of high-energy situations and go-arounds.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Enhanced Runway Throughput:<\/strong> Better wind information facilitates improved spacing between consecutive arrivals, boosting runway capacity during peak traffic periods.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Reduced Ground Delays:<\/strong> With more predictable arrival flows, departures experience fewer delays due to spacing constraints.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>By deploying AWALON, PANSA continues to contribute to the HERON project&#8217;s mission of advancing innovation in air traffic management.
