HUCAN took part in the 2025 edition of the Fly AI Forum, organised by EUROCONTROL on behalf of leading European aviation stakeholders. The event reaffirmed the growing role of artificial intelligence in shaping the future of aviation, touching on key topics such as trust, safety, automation, and the need for a balanced approach between innovation and regulation.
In this context, HUCAN was featured in the dedicated research showcase at SESAR exhibit space, providing its contribution to a holistic approach for the certification of advanced automation and AI-based innovation in aviation. The project also presented the latest results of its research with its new infographic, illustrating how the HUCAN methodology helps research initiatives align with certification objectives. The certification-aware design approach developed by HUCAN aims to support research projects in aligning their solutions with the EASA AI Roadmap, according to the intended maturity level.
