The SPATIO Fast Track project has reached an important milestone with the final validation of Solution 2A \u2013 U-space Separation Management<\/strong>, carried out in February at the Loring airfield in Madrid.<\/div>\n

Led by Indra, the validation campaign brought together key project partners including ENAIRE<\/a><\/strong>\/CRIDA<\/strong><\/a>, INECO<\/strong><\/a>, Unifly<\/strong><\/a>, Unisphere<\/strong><\/a>, Universitat Polit\u00e8cnica de Val\u00e8ncia (UPV)<\/a><\/strong>, Universidad Polit\u00e9cnica de Madrid<\/a><\/strong>, Boeing<\/strong><\/a> and Deep Blue<\/strong><\/a>. The exercises focused on advancing and testing tactical deconfliction services, including both prediction and resolution capabilities, in a real operational environment.<\/p>\n

Advancing tactical deconfliction in U-space operations<\/strong><\/p>\n

The validation demonstrated how tactical deconfliction services act as a critical safety barrier<\/strong> in the airspace, complementing strategic deconfliction mechanisms already validated in Solution 1. By introducing this additional tactical layer, the solution enables safer and more efficient management of drone traffic, even in complex operational scenarios.<\/p>\n

The campaign delivered promising results in several key areas:<\/p>\n
