Focused on the theme &#8220;<\/span><b><i>Transport Transitions: Advancing Sustainable and Inclusive Mobility<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">,&#8221; TRA covered all transportation modes and aspects of mobility.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This biennial event brought together<\/span><b> researchers, policymakers, industry experts<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><b>stakeholders <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">from across Europe and beyond to discuss the latest advancements and challenges in the transport sector.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At TRA 2024, the <\/span><b>aviation industry<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> took center stage, representing both the challenges and opportunities in modern transportation. Discussions focused on sustainability, with pressure to <\/span><b>reduce the industry&#8217;s ecological footprint<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Researchers and industry leaders showcased initiatives for <\/span><b>cleaner fuels<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, enhanced <\/span><b>aircraft efficiency<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and <\/span><b>alternative propulsion<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> technologies like electric and hydrogen-powered aircraft.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Digitalization <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">was also a key theme, highlighting AI, blockchain, and IoT technologies to streamline operations, improve safety, and enhance the air traffic controllers\u2019 work experience.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In this regard, <\/span><b>TRUSTY<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> participated at the event being part of the SESAR 3 Joint Undertaking booth, aimed at showcasing its latest initiatives involved in delivering a unique digital european sky.
