{"id":613,"date":"2025-10-01T09:49:50","date_gmt":"2025-10-01T08:49:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/research.dblue.it\/trusty\/?p=613"},"modified":"2025-10-01T09:51:53","modified_gmt":"2025-10-01T08:51:53","slug":"trusty-highlights-from-tokyo-best-oral-presentation-at-amlds-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/research.dblue.it\/trusty\/2025\/10\/01\/trusty-highlights-from-tokyo-best-oral-presentation-at-amlds-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"TRUSTY Highlights from Tokyo: Best Oral Presentation at AMLDS 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>In July 2025, our partners at M\u00e4lardalen University (MDU) proudly represented TRUSTY at the International Conference on Advanced Machine Learning and<\/em><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"604\" data-end=\"810\">Back in July, TRUSTY partners at <strong data-start=\"637\" data-end=\"668\">M\u00e4lardalen University (MDU)<\/strong> took part in the <em data-start=\"686\" data-end=\"776\">2025 International Conference on Advanced Machine Learning and Data Science (AMLDS 2025)<\/em>, held in Tokyo from 19\u201321 July.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"812\" data-end=\"850\">They presented two important papers:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"851\" data-end=\"1166\">\n<li data-start=\"851\" data-end=\"961\">\n<p data-start=\"853\" data-end=\"961\">\ud83d\udcc4 <em data-start=\"856\" data-end=\"926\">\u201cA Theoretical Probabilistic Framework for Explaining Generative AI\u201d<\/em> \u2013 presented by <strong data-start=\"942\" data-end=\"959\">Shahina Begum<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"962\" data-end=\"1166\">\n<p data-start=\"964\" data-end=\"1166\">\ud83d\udcc4 <em data-start=\"967\" data-end=\"1074\">\u201cIntegration of Explainable Artificial Intelligence and Multimodal Machine Learning for Drivers\u2019 Fitness\u201d<\/em> \u2013 presented by <strong data-start=\"1090\" data-end=\"1112\">Mobyen Uddin Ahmed<\/strong>, who received the <em data-start=\"1131\" data-end=\"1161\">Best Oral Presentation Award<\/em> .<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1168\" data-end=\"1504\">This recognition shows how TRUSTY is moving the field forward. On one side, it contributes to <strong data-start=\"1262\" data-end=\"1331\">safer, smarter, and more transparent Air Traffic Management (ATM)<\/strong>. On the other, it strengthens the <strong data-start=\"1366\" data-end=\"1407\">SESAR and aviation research community<\/strong> by developing trustworthy AI that people can understand, explain, and adopt in real workflows.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1506\" data-end=\"1722\">Moreover, this achievement proves the impact of TRUSTY\u2019s human-centric approach. By combining <strong data-start=\"1600\" data-end=\"1618\">explainability<\/strong> with <strong data-start=\"1624\" data-end=\"1649\">operational relevance<\/strong>, the project supports both academic progress and practical innovation.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1724\" data-end=\"1934\">Congratulations to our MDU colleagues \u2014 <strong data-start=\"1764\" data-end=\"1839\">Shahina Begum, Shaibal Barua, Mobyen Uddin Ahmed, and Mir Riyanul Islam<\/strong> \u2014 for their outstanding work.
