Explore the DIALOG results by reading all materials developed during the project lifespan.

The Operational Service and Environment Description (OSED) outlines the context in which the DIALOG Teamwork Assistant will operate. This final version details the operational setting, involved stakeholders, and the use cases defined in Task 1.1. It provides a structured overview of the activities and interactions expected within the project’s environment, serving as a foundational reference for future validation and development steps.

This document defines the Functional Requirements for the key components of the DIALOG system: the Intent Inferring Service, the Teammate Awareness Service, and the Teamwork Assistant. It outlines what each component must do to support effective human-AI collaboration in air traffic management, serving as a basis for system design and validation.

This report presents the key outcomes of Work Package 1, including the development of an ontology of pilot requests for the Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) system and detailed task models outlining how Air Traffic Controllers (ATCOs) typically respond to these requests. These insights lay the foundation for building context-aware, human-centered AI tools in DIALOG.

This report outlines the methods developed to assess air traffic controllers’ (ATCOs) workload and attention levels. It includes the rationale behind the chosen approaches and details the processing pipelines used to extract and analyze physiological and behavioral indicators.

This deliverable presents the design solutions and prototypes developed to support effective and trustworthy collaboration between air traffic controllers (ATCOs) and AI systems, with a focus on usability, explainability, and human-centric interaction.

The Exploratory Research Plan outlines the approach and methodology for preparing and executing the validation exercises and activities within DIALOG. It provides a detailed description of the steps and strategies necessary to achieve the project’s validation objectives.

This document provides comprehensive guidelines and design patterns for establishing effective and trustworthy collaboration between air traffic controllers (ATCOs) and AI. The guidelines are based on the findings from the validation activities conducted within the project.

The Exploratory Research Report consolidates all the research outcomes obtained once the validation activities have been completed. This comprehensive document includes the results of Tasks 4.3 and 4.4, providing a detailed analysis of the findings and their implications. The report is pivotal in assessing the effectiveness and impact of the project’s validation process, helping shape the future steps and refinements in our work.

The Data Management Plan specifies the research data needed to achieve the project objectives. It is a living document that will be updated as the project progresses and when significant changes occur. (final version)

The Ethics Monitoring Report v2 is a living document that will be regularly updated. It includes the reporting of ethics monitoring and ethical approval actions. (final version)

The Communication, Dissemination and Exploitation Plan details the strategy and specific activities for sharing and maximizing the impact of the project’s results. While this document represents the final version, it will be updated as needed throughout the project.

The Economic Evaluation assesses the potential benefits of the project in relation to an initial high-level estimate of the costs involved. This document represents the final version and provides a comprehensive analysis of the project’s economic feasibility.

The Communication, Dissemination and Exploitation Report outlines the intermediate and final results of the CDE activities. This final report includes a detailed account of the project’s communication, dissemination, and exploitation efforts, and will be regularly updated throughout the course of the project.

We are currently looking for a motivated post-doc to join the DIALOG project at ONERA, focusing on Human-AI Teaming research. The position is for 12 months, starting mid-September 2025.
