This peer-reviewed article presents a webcam-based presentation tool that allows presenters to interact directly with web content using free-hand gestures. By overlaying the webcam feed on top of browser content, presenters can point, click, pan, and zoom on webpages in real time. The study explores three methods for free-hand clicking—dwell time, modal key control, and pinching—and evaluates their usability in a user study focused on maintaining presentation flow. The findings show that natural gestures can enhance presentations without disrupting the presenter’s flow, offering insights for designing more interactive and engaging live presentations.
