The DIALOG project aims to enhance collaboration between air traffic controllers (ATCOs) and AI systems. It seeks to develop a Teamwork Assistant that uses speech recognition to infer ATCOs’ intent and machine learning to assess workload and attention in real-time. By analyzing voice, physiological, and behavioral data, the assistant adapts to the ATCOs’ current state and context. Prototypes will be developed and validated with end-users to ensure performance and usability.
