These last weeks, the demonstrations of the second phase of integration of U-space technology solutions were performed at the Future Mobility Campus Ireland vertiport, in the vicinity of the international Shannon Airport, Ireland, in close coordination with the Irish Aviation Authority and AirNav Ireland, the Irish Air Navigation Service Provider. This phase comprised the addition of the Skyler® Radar Surveillance and an extended line of sight utilizing the demo drones embedded C2 (Command & Control).

The proposed ÉALÚ-AER solution enable BVLOS (Beyond Visual Line Of Sight) safety operations acquiring additional surveillance data of non-cooperative air traffic with the radar that is added, providing a situational awareness picture that will be available via Collins Airspace Services USSP (U-Space Service Provider) and CISP (Common Information Service Provider) to the different stakeholders involved in the operations.

The ÉALÚ-AER project has now entered its third and final year, promising a 2025 filled with exciting activities and impactful results. Stay tuned and keep following our journey as we bring this innovative project to its conclusion!
