IFAV3/EASA workshop in Madrid: Advancing Flexibility in Air Traffic Services

The IFAV3 project is pleased to announce its upcoming workshop on 27 November 2025, hosted at ENAIRE/CRIDA A.I.E. premises in Madrid.

IFAV3 is a SESAR Joint Undertaking project that aims to increase flexibility in the provision of European Air Traffic Services (ATS). As part of this initiative, the IFAV3 consortium has been working closely with EASA to explore the regulatory and standardisation aspects that would enable the deployment of flexible Air Traffic Controllers (ATCO) validations.

This interactive event will bring together experts from EASA and the IFAV3 consortium to:

• Present the latest IFAV3 solutions for flexible ATCO allocation
• Discuss regulatory and standardisation impacts with EASA
• Identify open issues and next steps toward harmonisation
• Showcase the IFAV Support Tools developed on the iTEC platform
