Our research on human-AI teaming is moving forward. The DIALOG project has recently been featured by Innovation News Network, highlighting our ongoing efforts to research and develop a safe integration of Artificial Intelligence in Air Traffic Management (ATM).
Bringing advanced automation into a safety-critical domain requires a rigorous human-centered approach. In this featured article, our consortium shares its vision for a “Teamwork Assistant” designed to adapt to the human operator, working collaboratively alongside active Air Traffic Controllers.
The future of European aviation relies on synergy rather than substitution. Through continuous scientific validation and dialogue with end-users, our focus is entirely on preserving situational awareness, managing cognitive workload, and building true operational trust inside the control room.
