ASTAIR is set to participate in the Fly AI Forum 2025, with a presentation during the Societal and Human Aspects session (Day 2, April 23). The focus will be on the role of AI in human-centric aviation solutions, showcasing ASTAIR’s advancements in human-machine collaboration.
Representing ASTAIR at the event will be Mathieu Cousy, the project coordinator from ENAC. Reflecting on the project’s progress, he commented:
As ASTAIR approaches the conclusion of its technical phase, at Fly AI Forum we will present our insights on AI-driven solutions for human-centric aviation. With the need for better predictability and smoother ground operations, ASTAIR research is exploring higher levels of automation in accordance with SESAR and EASA Roadmaps. ASTAIR is at a low TRL project and Fly AI is addressing all aspects of AI in operations, it is interesting for us to see the roadmap and give our views on the human automation teaming.
Over the past months, ASTAIR has conducted three dedicated workshops, collecting input from experts and stakeholders to refine its approach to AI applications in aviation. The final Validation Workshop is scheduled for 27 May 2025, marking a significant milestone in the project’s journey.
