The HERON project has released a concept image visually representing its five demonstration areas, each focused on improving air traffic management efficiency and sustainability. The image illustrates how HERON is testing innovative solutions, including Integrated 4D for Green Trajectories, Green Surface Operations Management, Optimised Approach Profiles and Spacing, Improved Trajectory Planning, and ADS-C Common Services. These demonstrations aim to enhance environmental performance, reduce CO₂ emissions, and optimise flight and ground operations across Europe.
